The Waiting Room w/Nowsm

Excited to present London-born, Brighton-raised producer Frank Hopkins at The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington on THU 17 OCT as he shares tracks from his latest EP ‘Echoes of Tomorrow’ released on September 13. Support from nowsm.

Left-field electronic artist Frank Hopkins is an artist and producer who curates melodic dance songs that combine the real world instrumentation with more classical dance floor arrangements. He is a creative that has the capability to incite a variety of emotions throughout his music, with the ability to transcend modern landscapes and place his own unique sounds consistently throughout all of his releases.

The ‘Echoes Of Tomorrow’ EP is full of mesmerising beats and synths that surpass reality, the music is blended for either concentration or the dance floor. Inspired by the likes of Four Tet, Aphex Twin and Jon Hopkins, Frank allows these influences to manifest themselves within his music, and lead to a sonic sound that is both melodic and fragile, but also perfect for club nights.

Drawing influence from Breaks, Ambient, and Experimental music, Nowsm released the heavy-hitting EP ‘Blood Let’ earlier in the year and has a stream of raw, imperfect and unapologetic mashups he’ll be drip feeding throughout Autumn. He receives continued support from Mary Anne Hobbs, Tom Ravenscroft and Jaguar on BBC Radio 6Music and Radio 1 respectively.
