Echoes of Tomorrow EP
Frank Hopkins' latest EP, Echoes of Tomorrow is out now on Blank Dust, marking a significant return after a difficult year. The EP showcases Hopkins' signature style, blending real-world instrumentation with electronic soundscapes to create an immersive listening experience. Featuring collaborations with Pleizel, known for his work on Max Cooper’s label Mesh, and Boom Logistics, Frank's father, the EP delivers a delicate balance of choppy, melodic rhythms and expansive, cinematic synths. Drawing influence from artists like Four Tet and Aphex Twin, *Echoes of Tomorrow* captures both the fragility and intensity of modern electronic music.
Alcion ft. Løgømyx
"Alcion feat Løgømyx" is an instrumental piece composed by Frank Hopkins in honor of his mother, Nicola, with her name cleverly embedded as an anagram in the title. The track is built around choppy harmonies and layered textures, creating an atmosphere of reflection and memory. Rather than relying on lyrics, the composition uses fragmented melodies to evoke the complexity of emotions tied to loss and remembrance. The collaboration with Løgømyx adds depth to the sound, subtly weaving in tones that mirror the lasting influence of Nicola in Frank's life.
Life After U
"Life After U" was written by Frank Hopkins in memory of his mother, Nicola, who sadly passed away. The song delves into the deep emotions and the process of coping with such a profound loss. Frank composed this poignant piece in a place filled with cherished memories of his mother, capturing the essence of her presence. The melody of "Life After U" resonates with the themes of enduring love and the lasting impact of a loved one, illustrating how Nicola's spirit continues to live on in Frank's heart and actions, even after her passing.
I Can Feel U ft. Karim Kamar
Frank composed I Can Feel U for his mum, Nikky, who sadly was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer earlier this year. Frank says: “I composed this song in my mum's French house (which was a dream she realised for herself a couple of years ago)”. The song was brought to life by neo-classical pianist and internet phenom Karim Kamar, who's album came out earlier this year on RISE too. I Can Feel U is meant to talk to how Frank’s mum will always live through him, in spite of her sickness and health.
Aeternum
On May 5th, Frank Hopkins releases his debut LP on rise. Dedicated to his Grandfather - a fellow music enthusiast - who passed away in December 2022, Aeternum is Frank's first full album. The 9-track LP is Frank's most advanced collection of songs to date, blending real-world instrumentation with various synthetic sounds; Aeternum is an electronica record that can be enjoyed on the dancefloor or during more chilled moments.
Aeternum was composed throughout 2022 and is meant to reflect the solitude Frank finds in his creations. The album was composed entirely on his laptop, harnessing a number of Ableton VSTs for both synthesizers and piano parts. The percussive elements are entirely sample-based, with foley and field recordings captured in his back garden in the South-west of France. Released on RISE records.

Your Echoes is Frank’s second EP, which was released on self-release in August 2022. Your Echoes also features a remix from Germany-based electronica producer Loutouse.
